RULON: Roll-up, Group Runs, and Job-Queue

Introduction & Definitions

Some basic definitions are:

  1. Group Run: Evaluate and/or update analyses for multiple wells simultaneously

  2. Roll-up: Aggregation of results for economics, or other uses.

  3. Job Queue Evaluation done outside of the web browser

Job Queue is NOT Batch Runs. It is cloud technology used for Group Runs, but also used in other AFA functions.

STEP 1

Perform a group run to evaluate a number of wells simultaneously.

You only need to perform this if you wanted to update your forecasts for ROLLUP. if you are happy with the existing analyses, it may be optional

STEP 2

Perform a roll-up to aggregate the results of the group run. The roll-up is basically the addition of forecasts of different wells.
