Introduction
For simplicity, a coal measure is a series of layers formed from a repeated cycles debris accumulation and cover by sedimentary deposits. As an illustration, the description of measure versus layer, for CSG applications in AFA, is given below:
In AFA, layers within a coal measure can share properties to an extent defined by the user. Properties, by measure, are completely independent from any other measure.
