Module Overview (Types of Modules)

Introduction

The AFA module grid, shown below, is organized according a few categories. This include

  • SPAD Modules

    • These are modules which have various forms of decline capability, ratio methods, and/or other similar approaches. They can be applied to gas, oil, and/or water wells.

  • GAZ Modules :

    • These are single phase GAS models (conventional and unconventional) analyses such as automated Flowing Material Balance (FMB), automated Rate Transient Analysis (RTA) and other gas analytics.

  • MASLO Modules :

    • These are single phase OIL models (conventional and unconventional) analyses such as Flowing Material Balance (FMB), Rate Transient Analysis (RTA) and other oil analytics.

  • TAHK: Coal Seam Gas (PSS) Forecast

    • These are single and/or multiphase models, under the assumption of Pseudo-steady state flow, which can be applied to conventional and unconventional systems.

  • KOLDUN: CSG Monte-Carlo

    • These are the Monte-Carlo versions of the various TAHK modules.

Depending on the version of software you are licenced for, this module grid may be expanded.

Modules will only be highlighted if you select well, and there is enough data for that particular module. For instance, WOR will disabled if you select an oil well with no water volumes in the database.
