In the example below, both the Bourdet (Well Testing) plot and Fekovich Typecurve Analyses are shown for stimulated Colorado Shale well in Alberta, Canada. Note, a constant flowing pressure was assumed for this analysis. Note, the Colorado shale is often considered a Hybrid Shale .
Although the history match for the data plot (gas rate vs time) appears to be somewhat reasonable, the transient period of the Bourdet plot is not quality.
Some observations are:

Initial simulated rates are lower than measured values.
