autoRTA: Langmuir Isotherm

Introduction

When a user uses autoRTA, they have the option of enabling adsorbed gas via “Langmuir Isotherm“ as shown below. It also applies to autoFMB for gas wells.

Note:

  1. Langmuir parameters such as Pressure and Volume. See also Isotherm

  2. Plot of the isotherm once the inputs VL, PL, and rock density are completed.

  3. Plot of desorption compressibility ( Sorption Compressibility )


NOTE: In autoRTA, it is currently assumed that initial pressure is equivalent to desorption pressure. That is, free gas already exists in the pores. Pi=Pd
